about the drama squad

the drama squad is a wearable art line born in Sibiu, Romania. Every piece starts with text. A phrase, an idea, a feeling that comes from years spent in the rehearsal room. And transforms it into something that lives on the body. Tree rings. Dissolving figures. Spines. Wings. Text that stops being text and becomes something else.

The line is designed by Tui, a theatre director and educator who has spent five years working with young performers aged 7 to 19. Drama Squad started as a theatre studio. A space where kids learn to find their light, commit to the work, and make art that isn't safe.

The wearable art line grew out of that practice. Every concept in the collection comes from the rehearsal room. The discipline, the repetition, the moment something finally breaks open.

All garments are printed on the best materials available. Most are made from premium organic cotton, GOTS and OCS certified.

Every piece is made on demand. Nothing is produced until someone orders it. No overproduction, no warehouses, no waste.

The Drama Squad is operated by Drama Squad Space, based in Sibiu, Romania.
